The top-seeded Indo-Swiss duo Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis beats Casey Dellacqua and Yaroslava Shvedova to navigate their game into the women’s doubles semis of Wimbledon 2015 on Wednesday.

Mirza-Hingis crushed down the ninth-seeded Australian-Kazak duo 7-5, 6-3 in a quarterfinal round.

The game was heated up from both sides; the Indo-Swiss duo took 40 minutes to seal a first set 7-5 to draw and to bounce back in the game.

In the second set, Dellacqua and Shvedova broke down in the midway of the game which gave the Indo-Swiss duo a 5-3 lead.

Later Dellacqua and Shvedova struggled to score crucial points, as Sania and Hingis went on to take the set 6-3 to win the match.

The duo will now take on face fifth seeds Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears from USA in the semis. Stay Tuned!!!
