All time classic Sholay celebrating its 40 years of completion today. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra Deol and many other actors as well. Some of the dialogues from “Kitne aadmi the” to “Suar ke Bachchon” became Iconic from the cult classic.

The Bollywood movie is completing its 40years today that is on 15th August, the Independence Day. The dialogues and the songs, fight sequences are still fresh in the minds of the movie lovers.

Movie was directed by Ramesh Sippy and had starred the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and the ‘He-Man’ Dharmendra as iconic character ‘Jai and Veeru’ in the lead roles. Other actors such as ‘Thakur’ role played by Sanjeev Kumar, and actresses like Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan as the female protagonists respectively.

This blockbuster movie ‘Sholay’ also gave the most iconic Villain to Hindi Cinema of all the time ‘Gabbar Singh’ role played by debutante late Amjad Khan.
