Anti-corruption branch of Delhi government filed a charge sheet in a court that there are multi- crore transport scam which involves corruption in the fitness test to carry out on commercial vehicles today. In 2013, most of the people were arrested, the case for allegedly siphoning off crores rupees in conducting fitness test of commercial vehicles, which was headed by a special judge Poonam Chaudary.

Beginning of 2002, the ACB had registered a case pursuant to a complaint by Vivek Garg who was the RTI activist alleging that the contract for lane test of commercial vehicles before getting a fitness certificates whis was granted by the Delhi government to ESP India and necessary tests were not being conducted.

Garg had made the registration of FIR against the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit , former transport minister Arvinder Singh Lovely, former transport commissioner RK Verma nd ESP India. However, the ACB had confirm that they did not find any clues or any irregularity related to Dikshit and lovely.

The ACB had also arrested many people including India- based director of ESP USA, Nitin Manawt, Puran Chand Tamta, CEO of Tambros India ltd, an alliance partner of ESP India and others for allegedly floating a fake firm ,ESP India, Joginder Sharma, VK Gupta and Ashok Gupta.
