Bilateral series, which includes two Tests, five ODI's and one T20 International in the UAE is in doubt because of the strain relations with Pakistan.
On Saturday, chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan told the reporters, that PCB signed the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and approved the "Big Three" because BCCI promised, it would revive cricketing relations with Pakistan.
On Wednesday, he wrote a letter to the BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur, asking him for an update on a recommended series.
Since 2007, both countries have not played a full series facing each other, although Pakistan Team travelled India in December 2012 for a short series.
The deal between both countries was part of an agreement which completely gave International cricket affairs to Australia, England and India, named the "Big Three".
