An official meet which was conducted today between the six officials of the Mahindra Group and State IT Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao, Industries Minister J. Krishna Rao and Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma agreed upon all the expansion plans of the company in Telangana which was discussed in the meeting.

This expansion would operate in different sectors of Telangana and also would cover sectors like automobile, Information and Technology, Aerospace, Infrastructure and Defence.

The agenda which was set to be discussed in the meeting was all about the garbage collection of the vehicles which was supplied to the Great Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). The discussion also explained about the carry passenger electric vehicles which would operate to and from the Hyderabad Metro stations.

They also discussed about the expansion plans in the automobile sector in Medak district at Zaheerabad. Even the housing projects which was taken by the group was discussed, accordingly Rama Rao informed them about a new scheme to be launched soon which would provide two bed-room houses for the poor in Telangana.

After visiting the Mahindra Group at Hyderabad he also said that some of the major global players have already set up their units in Hyderabad.
