The sequel MSG-2, the messenger film directed by Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is being banned in Chattisgarh on the grounds of objectionable dialogues against the tribal community.

Chattisgarh constitutes 32% of tribal population in the state which raised demand on banning the film. Claiming to seek dignity of adivasis they were deeply hurt by the unfair dialogues used in the film.

Dialogue which fierced the tribal community says, “Na toh ye log insaanhainajaanwar, ye shaitanhainshaitan (these people are neither humans nor animals but devils). I have come to change the devils into humans. And my life is committed to it.”

Tribal people tookroute rallies protesting not to screen the film. Staged demonstrations, burning effigies of lead character was also part of the protest. Theatres restrict themselves from screening the movie.

Complaint was lodged with National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) and chief secretaries of Chattisgarh for insulting tribal community.
