The Pre-paid subscribers from Airtel would now pay according to per second usage. This service ensures that customers will have to pay only for the time they use the network.

This service came after the move by TRAI (amid regulator) who examined whether the company has actually been benefited with any tariff plans with their customers.

Past 3-4 months the problem of call drops has risen. MD and CEO of Bharti Airtel (India and South Asia) Gopal Vittal said that even if a call gets dropped there’s nothing to earn, as about 95 percent plans are second-based.

PM Modi also showed concern on this matter last week and instructed the officials to take urgent steps to avoid this problem.
