Putting aside the promise of ‘Make in India’ plan for Google’s Huawei Nexus 6P, the Smartphone could be launched in China and not India yet.

Vice president of Honor International Business Zhao Ghang has been earlier quoted by saying that, they are looking to double sales and revenue in India by the year end as they found India the most important market for the company.

Talking about shift in location for the launch of the Smartphone, Indian Huawei’s Vice president, sales, P. Sanjeev, said, “Huawei’s deal to make the new premium Nexus phones will boost sales and brand value of Huawei and Honor in the country.

Having a 12.3 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel front facing camera with HDR shooting mode, the Smartphone is powered by snapdragon 810 system-on-chip (SoC), 3GB of RAM, 5.7 inch HD display and 3,450 mAh battery.

Terming India as the fastest growing Smartphone market in the world, Chrome and Android Marketing global director David Shapiro is planning to launch nexus phone in the country.

“We are looking forward to the Nexus 6P delivering premium experience for Indian users, demonstrating what is possible when innovative hardware, thoughtful design, and the latest android software all come together,” he added.
