Pakistan on Friday morning felt an earthquake jolt across the Punjab Province.

According to US Geological survey, an earthquake of magnitude 5.3 was recorded. Monroe in Dhera Ghazi Khan was the epicenter of earthquake whereas its depth was recorded at 10 feet.

The impact of earthquake was felt at Multan, Lodhran, Dera Ghazi Khan, Jampur, Khairpur Tamiwali Tehsil, Ahmadpur. Rajanpur , Mailsi, Burewala, Rangpur, Jehanian also felt the impact.

People frightened by the sudden earthquake started evacuating their houses for safety. Until now, no loss of life and property has been reported.
