After getting PIL’s against the decisions by the Delhi government of plying odd and even private vehicles on alternate days, the Delhi High Court has ordered to continue with the decisions on a trial basis.

The PIL was filed by advocate Shweta Kapoor and Sarvesh Singh. However Chief Justice G. Rohini and Justice Jayant Nath refused that the decisions is not implemented yet and they are taking public opinion for this decision.

The plea filed says, “Curtailing the constitutional rights of the citizens by flowing unreasonable and arbitrary measures is only going to add to the chaos and shall not actually uproot the actual causes of pollution from the city which include pollution dust, entry of trucks inside the city of Delhi and traditional ways of waste disposal in the city.”

The decision is taken to curb the pollution and will be implemented from Januray1, 2016.
